PaddhO Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Block Level Career Counselor to join our team.

As a Block Level Career Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in equipping individuals with the essential communication skills needed for personal, academic and professional success.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Career Counseling: Conduct individual career counseling sessions to assess clients’ current communication skills, career objectives, and professional aspirations.

• Communication Skill Classes: Design and deliver engaging and practical communication skill classes, focusing on areas such as public speaking, interpersonal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.

• Individualized Learning Plans: Develop personalized learning plans for clients, tailoring instruction to their specific needs and goals.

• Progress Monitoring: Continuously track and evaluate clients’ progress in developing their communication skills, adjusting teaching methods and content accordingly.

• Resource Recommendation: Provide guidance on supplementary resources, such as online courses and language learning tools, to support clients’ language learning journeys.

• Job Market Insights: Stay informed about local job market trends and communicate relevant information to clients, including job opportunities that require English proficiency.

• Networking and Partnerships: Collaborate with local educational institutions, community organizations, and employers to create opportunities for clients to practice their English skills in real-life settings.

• Workshop Facilitation: Organize and lead workshops on interview preparation, resume building, and other career-related topics.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and success stories.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
3. Empathy and patience to support learners at different language proficiency levels.
4. Familiarity with language assessment tools and techniques.
5. Organizational skills and the ability to create structured lesson plans.
6. Proficiency in using multimedia and online resources for teaching purposes.
7. Adaptability to work with a diverse group of learners.
8. Computer literacy and the ability to use technology for teaching and documentation.
